What is the maximum number of processors a linux distro can support.
I imagin that it can be tweaked to support more. And another thing. I hear the new linux kernel 2.6 is being built to support more??

I don't know what the default is for any given distro, but if you compile the kernel yourself, you can make it support up to 32 CPUs for all 2.4 kernels and above. 2.6 doesn't have support for more CPUs than that, but it most likely uses them more efficiently.
