    There was a link or summary comparing the windows apps to their corresponding alternative in linux. I cant find it, where is it? I am trying to find a media player and codecs to play all kinds of files. I am tired of trying to open a video file of any extension and have every single application in linux just open up and do nothing or getting an error message.
