Turn off "extra" getty's?
Hiya,
Using Debian.. How can i turn of the "extra" CTRL-ALT-F(x) login prompts *hopefully* reducing the number of getty processes running? would only like 2-3 running , currently i have 6.
Cant seem to get a straight answer to this one anywhere

I think you do it in /etc/securetty or something similar to that. Can't check it out right now but I think its correct.

found it a minute ago in /etc/inittab, securetty says what consoles r00t can log into.
