Having a secure online harddrive
I have no idea if there are any free projects that offer this kind of functionality an I have no idea what to google for so here is my question.
I want to access my harddrive over the network through a webpage so I can upload and download files to it securely. I want the things to be password protected and such. Is there such a free project that offers this service.The computer made me do it!! Slackware

I don't know of anything like this offhand, but you could use sftp, which is available on various platforms. It does, however, require that you install sftp on the client you're using to access the remote machine (so if you don't have administrative privileges on the client, that would be a problem).
