When you say wifi broadband, what exactly are you referring to. Is it like a standard 802.11 based card connecting to an AP/Router or is it something like the iBurst or Navini wireless technologies (Where a modem connects wirelessly to a ISP)?

the unwired service I use (from navini networks) is like a pre wimax standard. It basicially connects to my ISP wirelessly through a PPPoE connection, albeit at speeds of 256 KBit. Max speed from my ISP is 1 MBit.
