    Java error


    hi,
    I am running Mandrake Linux 9.1. I have installed Java 1.4.2 completely. I am having prblems with executing applets. I am getting the following error in the console window:

    I'm not familiar with the KJAS class, try to compile/run a simple hello world app (which doesn't use it). Or is that what you've done? (I suspect that ther is some error in the KJAS file(s).)

    actually this is an applet on a website. i somehow managed to get it work with mozilla. thanks anyway
