    Installing PHPBB bulletin board

    What all I have to do in order to install a PHPBB bulletin board onto my website in the Linux platform. Is there any need for som linux programming or can it be done automatically? Thanks.

    you will need to ensure that you have php and mysql and apache installed.

    If this is all done, download the phpBB tarball, and extract it to a web accessible folder.

    Then hit it's installer using a web browser eg.

    http://localhost/phpBB/install.php
    obviously changing localhost for the system it's on and phpBB to the path from the main webroot.
