    hear anything about what? You posting on a different forum? Or about Mono that has been chugging along for the last year or so? I think it was almost 6 months ago that they first were able to compile mono with itself (a big step in a compilers "growing up" phase).

    I'm really not into microsoft stuff anymore. What is this whole .net thing about? The only thing I've heard is that it has a new programming language called C# (which I'm sure is very good, since it's designed by Microsoft...) and that it implements some CORBA like implementation over HTTP. Is there something more to it?
