    mandrake 9.2 - write permission


    I'm trying to edit a text file in map : /etc/ppp/peers/adsl (with KWrite)
    but when the changes are being saved , i don't have write permission in that map.

    How can i change it ?

    You need to su root and give the root password, then open kwrite in that same terminal and edit the file.
