    I set up m PS2 without any of this information , you should be able to set it up by selecting DHCP/Autoconfigure. DHCP supplies all of this information dynamically.

    Are you trying to hook it up from a router/modem or is it from a connection to your linux box? If you are doing it this way you'll need to set it upfor netsharing, and most likely as a DHCP server. You are connecting it via ethernet network cable to your PS2 network adapter? The cable isn't labelled as crossover?

    nvm i got it to work i hadto disconnect the usb calble from the modem to the computer
