Thanks Chris, you are right. But the distro was on a dvd and red hat would not read the dvd, so I had to read it with windows and burn it to a cd. I know RH should have been able to read it but I didn't know how to make it read a dvd. I know I've gone the long way round but I have installed JAMD.
Thanks lordnothing, I will perservere with JAMD for the moment.
