2)What would we need, besides the OS's?

word .. there is apache on mandrake install disks.. compile it and edit httpd.conf .. ithere are many HOWTO's and FAQ's about apache install and configuration :)

Remeber to lock up the system if you shall having it facing the internet. Disable all unessary services and maybe use grsecurity or at least som iptables chains..
