Sound driver help
I just recently reinstalled win98SE and when I finished I noticed that I had no sound. I then found the driver needed for the pc. The driver is ESS Technology Es 1938/ES 1941/ES1946 Solo-1 PCI Audio Driver (WDM) and when i try to download it, it says please insert the Windows 98SE CD-ROM. When I insert it, it instantly says :
The file "ksclockf.ax' on Windows 98SE CD-Rom cannot be found.
The following error occurred: 'The file was not found" (Error #2)
Setup could not finish opening a file on the source disk.
Source file 'c:\windows\options\cabs\ksdata.ax'
Destination file 'C:\windows\system\ksdata.ax=Driver11.cab'
It then says: Windows encountered an error while trying to install the driver for this device. Error Code 137.
The Windows 98SE CD-ROM is in great condition....I don't know what the problem is? Can you please help...thanx!

I'm somewhat confused??? This is a linux based forum not M$. Not to say you aren't welcome but questions pertaining to installation of drivers for the Windows OS probably are not appropriate here. You should find support at a M$ based forum.
All right, brain. You don't like me and I don't like you, but let's just do this and I can get back to killing you with beer. All New Users Read This!!! If you have a grub problem please look at GRUB MANUAL
