Linux Survey - $50 Honorarium
Attention Linux Users!!!!: There is an online survey regarding Linux use that is now available. The survey examines how different users utilize the operating system and the results will be used to further develop the OS to better suit its users. There are 2 phases of this study. The first is an online questionnaire. The second requires you to download and run a program that will basically gather a list of the programs you are running on the Linux PC you use most frequently as a desktop/laptop. Of utmost importance, it will not gather any personal or confidential information. It will only collect information about the specific programs that are loaded on your PC. Furthermore, you will be given the option of reviewing the information that will be reported prior to returning the file. If you are uncomfortable with returning it, you can simply click a button that will delete the file from your system.
Those of you who respond to and complete both phases of the study will be paid an honorarium of $50 as a thank you for aiding in the ongoing development of Linux.
Please note, the survey will only accept the first 200 Linux users who complete the process.
Below is the link for the survey:
Thank you for your participation

Yes it does. Some of the questions have nothing to do with linux. Most of the questions seem to be written by somebody who never used linux. Ask dumb ones like what app do you run on your server, then the answers are(flash, netscape, gaim, opera, ect). Another great question ask "do you dual boot your linux server?" LOL, why would anyone do that. I also like how the linux survey was written with frontpage and its hosted at yahoo.
