I want to maybe install linux on my brothers xbox (after I buy it from him), but I was wondering what you guys had to say about it and if it's worth it. I just want to for fun and it'd be neat to show off to my friends. Any links that would help would be great also, I already have these:
The second link isn't complete, so I'd like to find a complete tutorial on how to do that. (I know how to solder properly, so that's not an issue)
Also, what distros do you think would be good running on an xbox?
Thanks for your help.

I noticed no ones replyed to your thread so I signed up just for you
If you're going to run Linux on your xbox I would strongly recomend using XDSL (Port of Dam Small Linux)
Also it would not hurt to get the 64MB RAM Upgrade.
But thats the best part about XDSL it runs very fast and is very small about 40MB at the bare minimun.
Everything you need to know is on the forums over at http://forums.xbox-scene.com/
