Debian, Suse, Mandrake
Those are also very big distro's..
You could look at distrowatch.com for others etc

suse is a really good one but IMHO who needs an alternative to slackware

If you're looking for a source distro (i.e.: compile everything) then (excluding Gentoo) I think that you can do that using Slackware. Also the little known Source Mage.
