Fedora Core 1?
Has anyone used this new distro from RedHat? I have redhat 9.0 and I would like to stick with redhat, but if I must I will switch to SuSE or Mandrake.

That doesn't mean I am not open to any other distros, those are the only two that come to mind at the moment. I like the update feature through rhn... I think Ximian... yea, they are developing a software package to update packages...

Yep, I'm using Fedora Core 1 (uppdated my old outdated RedHat 8.0 install - it was -a lot- easier to uppgrade to fedora than to patch every package when ever installing something new).
You'll recognize the redhat look and feel, if you like redhat you'll like fedora (actually it's basically redhat 10).
I recomend uppgrading (updating(option at install, very smooth) the system, and it easier than patching everything manually)
(just for the record, I haven't tried RedHat 9)Regards Scienitca (registered user #335819 - http://counter.li.org )
