    I added a nic card want to use linux firewall

    hardware brouser can see it but there isnt any light and its not configured to use. I want to be able to use that nic card to get internet to another pc going through the linux firewall.

    Firestarter has a checkbox you simply check to configure Internet Connection Sharing. nice GUI interface for a firewall and may simplify what you are trying to accomplish.
