Is there any way to compare processors speeds? I want to know which of these would be a faster processor (for server applications):
Intel Xeon 2.4 GHz
Intel P4 3.0GHz
...

Faster Processors (IBM, AMD or Intel)
Is there any way to compare processors speeds? I want to know which of these would be a faster processor (for server applications):
Intel Xeon 2.4 GHz
Intel P4 3.0GHz
AMD 280 2.4GHz
IBM P595 1.9 GHz
Main question is between IBM vs. the AMDs and Intels in the above scenario only.
