    Not The usual distro Q.

    Hello again all,

I am stuck. I just fully gave up on Fedora Core 4.
This time I want a good distro. Not the Fedora/suse/mandriva crap. I want a good stable distro that I can customise to my liking.

I want a distro like this in light of the fact I have been using Gentoo. I really want a distro like that, but without the compile times (9 hours for openoffice).

I am thinking debian-based, or maybe even straight debian.

    Idea's?

    Thanks,
    ~The_weedman

Although I sympathize with your wanting a "good" distro, no one can possibly tell you what will end up "good" for you. Just keep trying.
