    Fedora Samba authentication

I have a Samba server (running on a Suse 8.0 box) with a number of NT clients that connect to it without a problem.

In Fedora I have the option to use SMB authentication which I can configure but it doesn't work.

I have also tried connecting to a Debian Samba box with the same result.

    Any ideas?

Try it without anything in the workgroup field. I ran into this problem while trying to connect to a remote printer.
