If you ask me, I think you should just stick with GRUB. It is better than LILO in almost all ways....

    Ok Dolda. I will heed your advice. I will stick and learn Grub. I see that more and more distros have started offering Grub along side Lilo. Which testifies what you are saying. Thanks!!!

    I have used both, but prefer GRUB. The first PC I put Linux on freaked out with LILO, spitting out 1's and 0's as fast as it could, from top to bottom as soon as the BIOS passed control off to the OS. GRUB fixed that prob, and I just learned how to do the edits and such with it first.

    After trying to install Debian, I found that there are alot more bootstrap utils out there.

    (BTW guys, the Debian experiment was a failure for me. Couldn't get X to configure. I guess til I get some more mainstream hardware, I'll stick to MDK)

    Debian should run on any hardware MDK does why wouldnt it?
