    ADSL Speed

i have an adsl connection with 128kbit down 32kbit up speed.
isn't that means i can use them at the same time?

i download aways about 13-15 kbyte, but when i start uploading sthing via ftp, upload goes 3-4 kbyte/sec, download 6-7 kbyte/sec.

    is not it wierd?
    Have a nice day

i think it would depend on yoru phone companies policies, they might have a 128k combined maximum throughput limit. this would work out to about the right numbers (8 + 4 = 12.. which isnt far from 13-15)

If you had SDSL, you could have uploaded and downloaded files at the same time without you noticing the speed would decrease, but that's not the case with ADSL.
