Forward a local or "fake" ip to a public ip
On the web server are web pages with activex controls embeded in them.
The activex control has a parameter for ip address.
This ip address points to a video server at our clients locations.
The goal is to stop web users from being able to view the source and
get the ip of the video server.
One idea is to put a "fake" or local ip in the ip address parameter of
the activex control... Then have something on our web server redirect
that local ip to the public ip of the video server at the clients
Does anyone with any experience with iptables know if this is possible?
