    Fedora install on VMware?

    Hi there,

For some unknown reason I was not able to dual boot fedora with XP or Windows 2003 so I decided to give VMware a go.
I am not able to install fedora in vmware either. Has anyone else tried this.
I have no problems with other OS in VMware.

    VMware 4.0.5

    cheers

    Hi,

I sat down last night and tried to get Fedora Core 2 to work with VmWare with Windows XP as host op. The installation runs without problems, but when Fedora is rebooted im getting an error message that says "Kernel panic" and something about Fedora being unable to mount filesystem. It could be because im using VmWare 4.0.5 but I think it will work better when I upgrade to 4.5. Please tell me your own experience about this.

    /F
