    Default Terminal Font

Does anyone know which font is used in the linux terminal by default? I use Red Hat Linux 8.0 and I really like the default font in the terminal application. I assume Red Hat Linux 9.0 is the same ... It's nice and evenly spaced and very readable.

I was hoping to install it on my PowerMac for use in its terminal window as well, but I'm not sure which font it is.

if you run KDE, open a terminal window, go to settings, click font, then click custom. The defaults on that page should be what it is currently using.
