    Is there a way to extract a .daa archive in linux. I know in windows it is done with an app called PowerISO.

    According to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Direct_Access_Archive), PowerISO is the only application which can extract .daa's.

    You might try running PowerISO under Wine and trying to extract it.
