help unmount and delete extra swap
I want to reformat my old 4GB hd to fat for file sharing between linux and windows, SuSE has a swap partition on the main hd and it uses the swap on the 4GB hd, If I remove the swap off the old hd will it cause problem with SuSE? If so, how do i unmount (umount doesnt work, says there is no such partition) and update SuSE to know it no longer exists?

To deactivate swap:
swapoff /dev/hdxx or swapoff /dev/sdxx
To make SuSE know about the location of new swap, edit the line related to swap in /etc/fstab
For further help you need to provide some more info, like partition table, sata or ata, etcPut your hand in an oven for a minute and it will be like an hour, sit beside a beautiful woman for an hour and it will be like a minute, that is relativity. --Albert Einstein
