    I am not sure if it was just with this workstation or what but the shockwave crashed mozilla soon after installing it. But after a reboot it worked fine, not sure why it would require a reboot, did ldconfig afterwards and no effect. Any thoughts on that ? It's working fine now btw

    shockwave???

    more than likely, youre not going to be able to shockwave untill macromedia decides to make a linux version of the player. unless you decide to emulate windows with something like crossover and watch really slow shockwaves :\
    it somes with the territory. we are making strides in the eye of the public. slowly but surely. good luck
