I was trying to fix a problem when I accidently installed mbr to /dev/hda1 (a fat32 partition) instead of /dev/hda.

This made that partition unmountable and unreadable unless using an M$DOS boot disk.
I was attempting to remove it with some very good partitioning tools and that changed some values at the start of the disk and now it reads as unformatted by everything.

Now, there happens to be some files on this disk that I need. They consist of LOG a dash and a number. The number increments per file. Is there some program I can get that will help me rescue these files and send them over a LAN?
