Redhat8 mozilla upgrade
OK,
I installed rh8. it came with mozilla1.0.1. I want to upgrade to mozilla1.2.1. I downloaded the new mozilla, installed it, and set up the links, plugins, etc.
I go to uninstall the mozilla1.0.1 through the gui package manager, I select the mozilla, and it wants to uninstall openoffice
how do I properly UPGRADE mozilla without having old copies and keeping the links to openoffice?
Thanks.

try the command line
rpm -evh mozilla-1.0.1
or whatever packages you want, you will have to add them all to one line(or get them in the correct order) as most of the mozilla packages depend on each othermajorwoo
