Vista and Linux
Hi!
As I saw at:
http://www.tomshardware.com/2006/05/...ta/page37.html
Windows Vista is becoming very user friendly and eye candy... (becoming much more like mac... bleh)
So I want to know which distro is the most advanced in eye candy/user friendly features/new neat features!
Thanks!

They all have the same capabilities. But Kororaa is one that has some nice eye candy enabled by default.
Stand up and be counted as a Linux user!

If you ask me, even with Aero, Vista is still less visually stimulating than Linux is. With all of the different Window Managers/Desktop Environments that Linux has to offer, I don't see how you can go wrong. Windows still has only one GUI. Also, many of the visual tricks that have been incorporated into Aero have been available on Linux for a long time, and with less hardware demands. I can tell you without hesitation that a 3D cube in Windows would not even come close to running on my machine but the AIGLX 3D cube that is integrated into FC6 runs pretty well. I would use it daily if it didn't slow Ff down so much. Pretty much any theme you can think of that you'd want on Linux you can have, Windows is a different story.
