    FreeSBIE cant start - can somebody tell me why?

    It boots, splash.bmp - "FreeSBIE is loading" appears, and thats all.....The PC stops reading from the CD. CD is OK - tried on another mashine - runs! I often use live CD and all`s OK! My PC is COMPAQ PRESARIO. And the last message before the stop is:

    "d0:....HDDinfo..... at ata0-master UDMA 33
    acd0VDROM....at ata1-master UDMA 33
    acd1:CDRW.....at ata1-slave WDMA 2"

    Can somebody tell me what can I do?

    i'm not sure myself really, i had a bit of a problem myself also...

    I'm going to try again myself, but in the meantime, try to boot with an arguement to the extent of "noacpi" for some reason this is the only way FreeBSD works for me, so give that a shot if possible
