Hi Tech_man,
Thanks for the quick reply. On Ubuntu I use Gnome and Mepis I have KDE.
I need a iso creator so that I can make an iso on the Windows partition of my harddrive.

HomepageDescription: Partition Image is a Linux/UNIX utility which saves partitions in many formats (see below) to an image file. The image file can be compressed in the GZIP/BZIP2 formats to save disk space, and split into multiple files to be copied on removable floppies (ZIP for example), ... Partitions can be saved across the network since version 0.6.0.

An iso? Do you mean make an image of your hardrive to back it up? An iso refers to ISO9660, the CD/DVD filesystem. Unless you meant a bootable CD of your installation in which case check out http://www.linux-live.org/
