    Port 125 and 127 mysteries


    Howdy folx,

    Anyone familiar with the following.

    125 TCP locus-map Locus PC-Interface Net Map Ser
    125 UDP locus-map Locus PC-Interface Net Map Ser

    127 TCP locus-con Locus PC-Interface Conn Server
    127 UDP locus-con Locus PC-Interface Conn Server

    I found an old *nix machine that is broadcasting udp packages on port 127.
    Anyone who nows where theis Locus sofware is used for ?
    What it does..

    Im not sure what it is.

    Can you use something to capture the packets and see what is contained in them? That may give some clue (but it may not).
