Linux on symbian?
Hi
This may be the wrong section, but I just have a question, if anyone knows the answer.
Is it possible to run Linux on a Symbian S60 device? If yes, how?
If needed, my phone is nokia 3230 [123 MHz, 8 mb ram free, ca. 500 mb free space on memorycard]
I think it must be possible to make an emulated version or something ...
Thanks in advantage,
Faffnir

The S60 devices run on ARM chips, and there is an ARM port of Linux. However I'm not sure about the distros that are out there for it. You may have a lot of manual work to do.

Thanks, okay
Well, It'll have to wait a little time then. But hopefully, it's possible.
I'll write if I make any progress.
Thanks again for your info,
