Distro needed for VIA graphics card
Hi!I installed fedora core 6.Now I have a dual boot system(XP pro+ FC 6).
But I faced display problem as my onboard via graphics is not properly supported.So please suggest me a distro which can run without any graphics issue on my pc.
Configuration:
Motherboard:MSI PM8M-V
Ram:768 MB (64 shared by onboard via graphics chip)
I mostly prefer KDE environment.

did you try "vesa" driver? log in as root and execute this
look for section Device Video Card and set Driver vlaue to "vesa"Code:nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf
save file and reboot.Code:Section Device Identifier "videocard0" Driver "vesa" EndSectionIt is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

I succeded in editing the xorg.conf file.
After saving I rebooted the pc,but it still gave me the localhost login screen.
So again I rebooted & it booted properly.
So is the problem solved finally?

execute 'startx' command and post error message here, if any.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
