    Hi!I installed fedora core 6.Now I have a dual boot system(XP pro+ FC 6).
But I faced display problem as my onboard via graphics is not properly supported. So please suggest me a distro which can run without any graphics issue on my pc.

    Configuration:
    Motherboard:MSI PM8M-V
Ram:768 MB (64 shared by onboard via graphics chip)

    I mostly prefer KDE environment.

did you try "vesa" driver? log in as root and execute this
    Code:
    nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf
look for section Device Video Card and set Driver vlaue to "vesa"
    Code:
    Section Device
              Identifier "videocard0"
              Driver "vesa"
    EndSection
    save file and reboot.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    Question

I succeded in editing the xorg.conf file.
After saving I rebooted the pc,but it still gave me the localhost login screen.
So again I rebooted & it booted properly.
So is the problem solved finally?
