Extracting *one* file from a dar archive
This is really getting on my nerves.
I would like to extract a single file from a dar archive I made of my entire system. I don't want to have to extract every single file in the archive in order to retrieve this one script, but I can't figure out how to do it!!! The man pages don't make it clear, and I can't make head nor tail of the dar website.
Can anyone help?
EDIT: The following don't seem to work,Code:dar -x dar_archive -g path/to/file/I_want_to_extract dar -R / -x dar_archive -g path/to/file/I_want_to_extract
