    Dell Users

    I currently Dual boot ubuntu with the win. xp that came on my dell E1705 notebook...Does this void my warranty (I am still under the warranty that came with the laptop assuming I did not void it) does anyone have any info on this? thanks

    No it does not invalidate the warranty. This was confirmed to me by Enterprise level support form Dell (Gold support). According to the person I spoke to the warranty is for hardware, not the installation.
