Firmware Alternative
hey didnt no where to post so i think here should be good
... i recently got a Laser VOM-2GBK Mp3 video player (or Mp4 player which ever) and i was wondering if there is a alternative firmware for it? cause the firmware or OS or wateva is running it is all types of bad and syncing with it is slow!! cause a m8 of mine has a iriver X20 and the firmware on that is much better and syncing much faster... i found one called rockbox... but i dont think it supports this model of mp3... any help would be great!!
cheers guys and gals!

Google the name of the device along with the word "firmware"
to see if anything comes up. Many devices have flashable firmware,
but it is very specific to the device, serial number and so forth.

Yeah, you should be very careful about trying to flash the device with any firmware other than what was designed specifically for your device, or you will likely kill it for good.
