Verizon DSL
I've installed Verizon DSL filters and modem with Fedora Core 5 and Firefox 2. When I go to 'activatemydsl.veriizon.net' to set up my account, I get the message 'You have an unsupported operating system'. When I go to Network Configure and select xDSL it asks for user name and password provided by proviider. rp-pppoe-3.5 is installed. How to I connect to Verizon to set up my account? Thanks, Larry

Verizon DSL
I have set up PPPoE by commanding /sbin/asdl-setup. My Westel 6100 modem is connected to my NIC card via the ethernet connection. Now, I'm trying to access Verizon by going to 192.168.1.1, but after some time I get the message 'timed out'. So, what now? Is my PPPoE setup causing the problem? In the setup I chose Firewalling-STANDALONE and DNS addresses-supplied by ISP's server. Thanks, Larry
