I'm looking to try out a 64 bit distro on my new laptop.
I've tried fedora core 1 64 bit version, but i can't seem to get a boot. It installed successfully, but whenever i boot, i get either a black screen or a scrambled screen.
I'm relatively sure that a driver update would fix that, but i don't know how to update the driver without being able to login to the o/s.
What are the other distro's with 64 bit versions.
I checked distrowatch, but found it too hard to find the 64 bit versions.
I would really like ISO's too, but ftp is not completely out of the question, just a lot more inconveniant. I don't have anywhere near my router were i could set the laptop down to run cat5 into it, and i don't really want to install ndiswrapper to use my wifi for just doing an installation.
