hello,
i'm in the middle of the instalation of Gentoo and I got a question:
when I emerge Kernel Sources, do I only have to install 1 or, I could do a few of them:..?
for example, now I'm downloading gentoo-sources with te command
I see they also have gaming-sources or xfs-sources... could I install these too after i'm done with gentoo-sources?Code:emerge -k sys-kernel/gentoo-sources
and... what does sys-kernel mean??..

You probably could emerge those, but I would wait until after your system is completely installed.
And Im guessing sys-kernel stands for "system kernel"

and i gues I could compete the emerging of other sources later..

In gentoo, there are different sources flavours for you to install (you can search them with emerge -sS)
vanilla-sources
original sources, the same one's you can find in kernel.org
gentoo-sources
preoptimized gentoo sources
development-sources
latest kernel available with bk patchset
(in gentoo there's a tool named genkernel that will help if you are a newbie compiling the kernel..)
You can emerge some of those, or all of them.. no problem with that, but remember they will be stored in /usr/src and you will be using the one you choose by compiling and using bzImage to boot, also remember to point /usr/src/linux to the kernel you want to run, or some emerges can fail.
