I know that this is a very old thread, but I follow the directions and get a message "wong fs type, bad option, bad duperblock on /dev/fd0, or too many mounted file systems"
When I went through the GUI user mount tool, I got the same message.
It's Redhat 9... I'm embarrassed to say that although this system has been running for years, I know almost nothing about it because it never needs anything. The little bit I learned in setting up the system has pretty much disappeared from my memory.
Now, as I get ready to replace aged hardware, I am trying to back up config files to a floppy and getting nowhere. Thanks for any help you can offer.
