gtk-server licensing (GPL)

Hello,
If I write a lisp program that uses BSD-licensed bindings to talk to the GPL'ed gtk-server (in binary form.) then I can put my program under any license I want, right? As the gtk-server is binary, and the two programs are not linked. (Or derived form each other.) Is this the case? (Sorry if this sounds confusing...) Thanks!

I believe that you can. Having said that, I'm not an expert. The being-binary doesn't matter (I don't think), but since you don't link or derive, you should be fun.
