Not sure if that specifically exists; however, it seems from the Dell support site that if you laptop has a modular bay, then you can get a modular bay battery and thus run two batteries on the same laptop.

Yes, several vendors sell laptops that support dual batteries, dual HDD's, etc.
Dell and Lenovo are two examples.
I do not know about new ones ... but I have an HP Compaq NC4200.
It has a primary battery and I have a Travel battery that snaps on the bottom.
I can get about 8.5 hours.
Many thanks to all the replies.
I have an HP TC1100 tablet with a unique feature I did not know about prior to going thru the service manual.
It has what they call a bridge battery (a small button battery inside). When your main battery is low you put the system into hybernate state, pull out the main battery and insert a fresh one, call system back from hybernate and continue where you were working.
Anybody else seen this feature on a laptop? I'm looking for a replacement and this is kinda cool feature.
That's sounds interesting, but it's like having another battery not "Dual Batteries" inside, if your computer wakes up from suspend to disk in Linux so you are lucky.
Having two batteries installed sounds like it would be heavy.
