Long range wireless keyboard/mouse

The only thing this has to do with Linux is the Slack box I'm going to use...

OK, so I just got this plasma for my new apartment and I thought it would be the slamzone if I could hook up this Slack box (which is so slow that it's only good for interweb stuff) I have to it so I can read my email from the couch. Only problem is I need a powerful wireless keyboard and mouse. Do any of you have suggestions? The range I need is like 10 feet.
