The problem is this, when I start Yoper, the only way I can get the mouse to keep from jumping around and opening up new windows, is to unplug the mouse and plug it back in. Then I hit the connect buttons on the cordless receiver.
I went into SaX2 and configured the mouse properly, but when I reboot, all my setttings are gone. Replaced with default settings, and yes I did "save" the changes using the "save" button.
As a matter of fact, all SaX2 settings revert to default. I am at a loss as to how to keep the settings saved.
Your help is appreciated.
Yeah that seemed to happen with me to when i was testing out yoper... I think I solved it like this:
And then edit any differences, for example enable GLX and DRI, at least if you have a ATI-card, add this line in the mouse-section if you got a browser-wheel on your mouse:
apt-get remove sax2 #or sax, I don't remember
nano -w /etc/xorg.conf
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
That did not work. In fact it borked the system, so I had to reinstall.
It works now, I took out the KVM switch, and used just the USB connector.
