news server

i try to install a news server, but when i try to run innd daemon ,it gives me a message:
please try to run makedbz and/or makehistory before run innd
when i try that "makedbz or makehistory" gives me: command not found!! :cry:
what is the solution??

cd to the directory which there are located in. then run ./command

is this command requires options?? or give me example to run it! :)
