Printer Port Output Signal form Bash?
Ok, not sure how to describe it. Basically I want one of the pins on the printer port to output a voltage for a given period of time (few seconds) on command from the computer. Is there a way to say make pin 15 to fire a 9volt ( or other voltage ) signal by running a command in bash. This is going to be used to activate a relay which in tern is going to activate another device. The relay is really small so the voltage draw does not need to be big. Is it possible to do something like that?
